Directions:

We are located in the heart of Pátzcuaro, just a block away from the lively
street-market and a few blocks from the main Plazas. Our street address is Libertad 80 and we are just beyond the market next to the “escuela federal”. You will know that you have arrived when you see the adobe wall that surrounds the property and and the front gate marked 80.

Getting to Pátzcuaro:

To visit Pátzcuaro you can fly into Morelia, Mexico City, Guadalajara, or Ixtapa/Zijuatenejo.

The closest international airport is in Morelia, the elegant capital of the State of Michoacán. This airport is about 1.5 hours from Pátzcuaro. We can arrange for taxi pick-ups at the Morelia airportand the fee is about $50 US per taxi (a bit more for a minivan).

Pátzcuaro is 4 hours west of Mexico City (by bus or car) and fourhours east of Guadalajara. We can help coordinate for travel to Pátzcuaro. The bus lines are fairly nice and affordable. Carsrental offices are at the airports. Taxis can be arranged for under $200 USD.

Ixtapa/Zijuatenejo is a beach resort area on the beautiful Pacific coast about4 hours from Pátzcuaro. We can help arrange travel by bus, rental car, or taxi (under $200USD). This is a great option for people who would like to visit both the beach andalso experience the fascinating interior of Mexico.
